Her parents, Rafael and Tzipi, had a horse ranch, where Bar spent most of his childhood.
Bar began to model at five months old in TV commercials, but paused after he returned to work as a model at the age of 15, represented by Irene
Marie Models agency.
In 2000 and 2001 Bar Rafaeli won the title of Model of the Year. She was selected as a model and appeared in Renuar catalogs summer 2002 and winter of 2003.Later Bar Rafaeli appeared in the French magazine ELLE.
