Candice Swanepoel (born October 20, 1988 in Mooi River, South Africa) is a South African model.
Swanepoel was born in Mooi River, in the province of KwaZulu- Natal. Hired by a designer in a street market in Durban at the age of 15 , and at 16 won Swanepoel and 40,000 rand (5,000 € ) for each day of work. He is best known for her work in Victoria 's Secret.
Swanepoel has appeared on the covers of magazines Vogue , Elle , and Ocean Drive ( U.S.), plus commercials for Nike, Diesel , Guess ? and Versus Eyewear.
Swanepoel has also paraded on the catwalk for Tommy Hilfiger , Dolce & Gabbana, Sass and Bide , Betsey Johnson , Diane von Fürstenberg and very many other designers , also for Victoria 's Secret in 2007, 2008 , 2009, 2010 , 2011, 2012 and 2013. Besides appearing in advertisements for lingerie brand , was a leading model in the catalog " SWIM " in 2010.2011 , 2012 and 2013.
