Miami prosecutors have decided not to charge the quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick, and two other players in the NFL for an incident with a woman in a hotel in the city center.
Kaepernick always maintained his innocence
A statement issued Thursday by the office of the state attorney of Miami-Dade said there was sufficient evidence that a crime had been committed in the hotel room in April. Evidence suggests that the woman was not sexually assaulted and other evidence supports
the assertion that the players about nothing happened.
Kaepernick continually denied the allegations. Earlier this month the 49ers gave the pin 26 year old a contract extension six-year, $ 126 million that will keep him in San Francisco until 2020.
The other players who were in the room that night were open 49ers receiver Quinton Patton, and wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, Ricardo Lockette.
