Katie Holmes Kate Noelle (Toledo, Ohio1 December 18, 1978) is an American actress who first achieved fame for her role as Joey Potter on the teen drama Dawson's Creek from 1998 to 2003.
Holmes , baptized in the Roman Catholic Christian religion , the Church and attended Christ the King School in Toledo. His high school was Notre Dame Academy , her mother's alma mater , where he earned a degree of 4.0. At St. John's Jesuit High School and Academy, a secondary school nearby man appeared in school musicals , representing a waitress in Hello , Dolly! and Lola in Damn Yankees. 1600 scored 1310 points in his SAT and was accepted to Columbia University ( and attended summer sessions ) , her father wanted her doctor. Holmes said in his hometown newspaper , The Blade that the three words that best describe himself are " honest , determined, and imaginative ."
At fourteen years old, he began attending classes at a modeling school in Toledo run by Margaret O'Brien, who took her to the Competition of the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA ) held in the City of New York in 1996. There she found an agent after performing a monologue from To Kill a ruiseñor.7 An audition tape was sent to the casting director of the film The Ice Storm , directed by Ang Lee. Got the role of Libbets Casey, in the film which starred Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver.
