Harrison Craig biography

Craig Harrison (born September 7, 1994) is an Australian singer who won the second series of The Voice. Craig, who lives in Melbourne, was trained in the program by British singer Seal. Craig has had three songs in the top 10 ARIA Singles Chart with his version of "Unchained Melody" reaching No. 2 and his original song, "a dream", at number 3.  Her debut album More than a dream titled was released on June 25, 2013 and reached # 1 on the iTunes charts. His new album Love was released April 11, 2014. Craig serve as social media and replacing Faustina Agolley backstage correspondent in 2015 in The Voice of Australia.


Craig lives in Chelsea, Melbourne with his mother, Janine Cochrane and his brother Connor. His father abandoned the family when Craig was six. Craig battles a stutter when speaking but has improved since competing in the voice. To help build his confidence, his mother encouraged him to join the chorus of Victorian children and make tutorials with voice coach David Jaanz. He completed their VCE in 2012 in Sandringham College, where he was captain of the music. In 2010 Craig Garage Band faced high and sang lead on their video for the song "Viva la Vida".

Craig is influenced by many artists from different genres, including Elvis Presley, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Nat King Cole, and many more. He sings in a unique style that has been called 'poppy'.
