Boardwalk Empire scribe Terence Winter has been talking about the chances of Leonardo DiCaprio joining the show’s cast, admitting that he hasn’t yet asked the actor but is not ruling it out.
Winter has just worked with DiCaprio on the forthcoming Wolf of Wall Street, and when asked by The Wrap if he’d like to have Leo play a part in the gangster show, he said he’d jump at the chance.
“That would be awesome,” Winter told TheWrap. “I never even though to ask him because he’s so unbelievably busy. That was his fourth movie in a row and I believe he was going to take some time off, so that wasn’t even a possibility.
“But God, if he would ever do it? I obviously would welcome that. We got Martin Scorsese to do it. Why not?”
