Alessandra Corine Ambrosio (Erexim - Brazil, April 11, 1981) is a Brazilian supermodel, one of the angels of Victoria's Secret, and making Brazilian Invasion of the early twenty-first century.
Ambrosio was born in Erechim, Brazil on April 11, 1981. She is fluent in English and her native Portuguese of Brazil. His parents, who are of Italian and Polish Brazilian descent, possessed an oil station.
Ambrosio was only 4 years old when he decided he wanted to be a model, after seeing a photograph of the top cover of Karen Mulder in a magazine. I wanted to be like her, remember. He enrolled in modeling classes at the age of 12 and 14 was one of 20 finalists in the Elite Modelling competition in Brazil.
Ambrosio was always insecure because of his long ears and 11 years faced a cosmetic surgery to re-place them back, though two years later suffered complications.
In 2006 appeared on The Tyra Banks Show, and said that the surgery was a bad experience that has discouraged him to get an operation again.
