Emily Olivia Leah Blunt (born 23 February 1983) better known as Emily Blunt is an English actress known for her work in The Devil Wears Prada (2006), The Young Victoria (2009), The Adjustment Bureau (2011) and Looper (2012). He has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards, two Awards Film Critics Circle of London, and a BAFTA Award. In 2007 he won the Golden Globe Award in the category Best Supporting Actress Series, Mini-series or TV movie for her work in the TV movie Gideon's Daughter BBC.
Blunt was born on 23 February 1983, Roehampton, southwest London. It is the second of four children of Joan, a teacher and former actress, and lawyer Oliver Simon Peter Blunt, one of the highest-profile lawyers in the UK. His siblings are Felicity, Sebastian, and Suzanna. His grandfather was Major General Peter Blunt, and one of his paternal uncles is Crispin Blunt, a Conservative MP for Reigate. Emily's great-niece of actor and retired Major General Tony Richardson.
At 14, he was second in the biennial competition Romptshon beauty, Liverpool. At 16, Blunt attended Ibstock Place School and, at age 16, went to Hurtwood House, a well-known for its advanced level in their performing arts program where he met his manager school.
