Colin Kaepernick threw two touchdown passes to Vernon Davis, while Tony Romo was intercepted three of their shipments, in mourning the San Francisco 49ers 28-17 on Sunday to beat the Dallas Cowboys erratic.
The 49ers (1-0) recovered a fumble and returned it 35 yards,
just on the second play of the game. Chris Culliver picked the football which was stripped DeMarco Murray.
San Francisco won 21-3 after the first quarter despite making only four offensive plays.
Kaepernick, who was coming off an uneven preseason with their offense looked efficient but not prolific. He completed 16 of 23 passes for 201 yards and no interceptions.
